Chas Ratliff

MY MISSION STATEMENT

For over 16 years, I’ve helped my clients assess where they stand today and plan for the heights they can reach tomorrow. With care and commitment, I’ll help you and your loved ones step into the future with confidence and purpose.

MY STORY AND SERVICES

Chas Ratliff is a Managing Director at Clover Capital Partners. He works in investment strategies and planning for business owners, sales professionals, and attorneys encompassing retirement, estate planning strategies, liability/risk management, and wealth transfer.

Upon graduating from the University of Georgia, Chas managed several sports training facilities for 5 years. Driven by his passion to help and serve others, he began his practice in wealth management in 2009 and worked for several large wirehouse firms.  After 16 years building expertise and client relationships within the structured environment of large wirehouse firms, the transition to independence at Clover Capital Partners in 2026 offered the freedom to act as a true fiduciary - combining institutional-grade knowledge and credibility with the flexibility to recommend truly objective solutions.

He and his wife Katie have five beautiful children: Addie, Dani, Charlie, Beau, and Gianna. Chas is active in the Atlanta community. He coaches his children in their different sports and is an active member of Regnum Christi, a religious movement within the Catholic Church. He helps facilitate "Morning of Reflection," a monthly retreat for young fathers. Outside the office, he enjoys CrossFit, watching UGA football & UK basketball, and enjoying Lake Keowee with his family.

HOW I WORK WITH YOU

My goal is to make your life easier. Plain and simple. My clients are all busy, successful people. They’ve entrusted me to take a huge responsibility off their plate––the long-term financial freedom for them and their loved ones. I don’t take that duty lightly. And I know it goes beyond managing assets. Directly and indirectly, money has a colossal bearing on a person’s overall quality of life. For instance…

• When I help an entrepreneur sell his company to private equity, I’m also helping him pursue his next big idea.

• When I help manage a portfolio for a sales professional with a young family, I’m also helping him spend more quality time with his kids in those precious hours outside of work.

• When I help a retiree make the most of a corporate retirement plan, I’m also helping him pay for his grandchild’s college education.

These stakes are not lost on me. Day in and day out, I strive to go above and beyond. Whether that means collaborating with your professional network of accountants and attorneys, or reaching out proactively to ask for feedback. I like to say that if you call me for help cutting the grass, you’ll see me in your backyard that afternoon.

Even though I have over 16 years of experience, I’m lucky to have youth still on my side. Because of that, when I take on a client, I view it as a truly lifelong commitment.
